About Josephine

Josephine Caggese, Owner and Chef at Josephine’s Sicilian Kitchen, has decades of experience as a chef. Josephine owned an Italian restaurant in New York before moving to Kitty Hawk, NC in the Outer Banks.

Josephine has a passion for cooking. In her home kitchen, she is constantly cooking new and fabulous dishes. She often has more food than her family can eat, and so she distributes food to friends and neighbors. Josephine welcomes everyone into her kitchen at home, and she brings that same welcoming spirit to her new restaurant, which serves authentic, Sicilian cuisine to residents and travelers in the Outer Banks.
